Why Childrens Educational Books, Instead of Just Childrens Books
For the past twenty-five years, I've devoured many books that have been beacons of light, inspiring lasting change and healthy habits.
Some books have become best friends: I cherish them, I care for them, I pluck my favorites from bookshelves when I need inspiration, friendship, even reassurance that life is OK, regardless of what I'm experiencing.
If you're like me, you're fussy about what books you read. Especially if they're educational books, books you read to learn something new.
You're probably even more fussy about childrens educational books, books your children read to learn.
You may be happy to know that in writing childrens books, I take no credit for the writing. The words for the books come to me from outside myself ("OK, now you're going off the deep end," you may be thinking).
Please bear with me a minute and hear me out.
I feel I'm gifted these books for a reason. My healing journey from King of Self-Destruction to Prince of Joy and Gratefulness has given me one perspective on health and values that children often resonate with.
My job is to share childrens educational books that are inspirational, uplifting and educational, so children read them often.
By remembering I've been given the books, and not the writer of the books, I don't get a swelled head and wrapped up into thinking how great a writer I am.
