Inspirational Christmas Stories Make Christmas Real

Inspirational Christmas stories found in Christmas gift books are the perfect Christmas present. For some people.

Do

books make great Christmas gifts? Yes, but not for everyone.

But everyone loves to hear an inspirational story. Do you have a personal Christmas story to share?

Some people have no time for reading at Christmas. Home from work, relaxing, the farthest thing from their mind is picking up a book, any book, whether or not it has an inspirational Christmas story.

They prefer to plop down in front of computer or TV, passively participating in life for a change of pace. Who can blame them?

After a hard years work, resting, partying, beginning to mull over plans for the New Year are uppermost in their minds.

So a Christmas gift book is out of the question for them.

However, many people love Christmas stories but have no time to buy Christmas books.

If you can find inspirational Christmas stories in books or on the web for their Christmas, they'll be quite grateful.

Other people love books so much that is all they buy for family:

  • books about Christmas,
  • great Christmas books for kids,
  • Christmas audio books,
all these books make great Christmas gifts.

Many Christmas short stories are considered inspirational. Sometimes inspiration comes in unexpected places, such as ...

Childrens Books on Death

Perhaps you're thinking it strange for me to include childrens books on death as a source for an inspirational Christmas story.

Children, like adults, deal with death all the time. How you discuss death and dying with your children is an important topic.

And since I have personal experience in writing a childrens Christmas book that deals with children and death, and is an inspirational online Christmas story as well, now seems like a good time to introduce it.

Two days after Christmas, 2002, an inspirational Christmas story came to me unexpected and unasked for.

I was recovering from a nasty cold, in Todos Santos, Baja California when I was gifted to write A Christmas Gift from Santa Maria, a childrens book on death that makes for an Christmas inspirational online e-book.

You can read the first 10 pages to get a sense of how one family struggles with their 13 year old daughter's mysterious illness. It's an inspirational Christmas story!
